Since few time Prea got into the focus of the international kite scene due to the outstanding and stable wind and weather conditions. Beside this the space capacity beach and the special character of the ocean bottom that provides almost flat conditions at low tide and outstanding downwinders with waves all over the place at high tide.

- the winddirection is south-east and side onshore from June till February

- wind starts slightly offshore in the morning and turns side on around 10 am.

- during the night there is still a sea breeze of 10 knots

- with cloudy weather the wind starts getting side on slightly later

- cloudcover is very rare and doesn´t influence the wind conditions just sometimes a bit more gusty

- full moon and new moon change the wind strengh usually for the next 2 to 3 days (slightly stronger or weaker)
