Prea is a small fisherman village in the north west of Ceara. People here are very simple, working mainly with fishing or agriculture, and are friendly and used to tourists.
Animals are free to walk around the village , it is common to see cows and donkeys on the beach.
It is located on the border with the National Park of Jericoacoara that, with kilometers of untouched sand dunes, offers some of the most spectacular panoramas of the entire coast of Ceara.
The village is surrounded with sand dunes and crystall clear lagoons like Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Pinguella.
Prea is well know as the kite beach of Jericoacoara with more than 20 kilometers of free beach and side on wind.
